For International Observe the Moon Night, join us for a virtual program at 2:00pm to learn about Artemis, NASA’s next lunar exploration program.
The speaker will be Jeffrey Woytach, with the NASA John H. Glenn Research Center, LSB/Science and Space Technology Systems Branch. He is currently lead systems engineer for the Next Generation Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator Project. He will share the new technologies and systems required to return astronauts to the Moon by 2024 and how everything we learn on and around the Moon will be used to take “the next giant leap” – sending astronauts to Mars. This virtual program will take place via Zoom. We will send a link to registrants on the morning of the event.
